Tunisian crochet, AKA Afghan crochet, is a unique and versatile technique which combines the best of knitting and crochet, working stitches on and off an elongated hook. You can make fabrics which look knitted, as well as creating stitch patterns which are completely unique.
In this workshop, self-confessed Tunisian crochet addict Emma Pass will guide you through the fundamentals – creating a foundation chain, working forward and reverse passes and experimenting with a variety of basic stitches. You’ll create a gorgeous stitch sampler and go home armed with the tools to continue exploring all that Tunisian crochet has to offer!
PLEASE NOTE – some basic knowledge of ordinary crochet, such as how to make a chain, is required. All materials provided.
