Welcome to CREARTII, a creative space, set in a beautiful historical building in Belper Town Centre, for creativity to come alive for everyone. Walk, catch the train, or park your car close by, and then relax and enjoy the pleasures of creating art and craft watching the world go by. CREARTII is run by me, Rachael, and experienced Teacher, Artist Teacher and passionate art and crafter. I offer everything from a range of exciting workshops of all art and craft forms, for all ages. CREARTII also features visiting artists, day and evening craft clubs, and children’s art groups and parties. Have you seen something on Pinterest that you would love to do? I am very keen to create what you want, offering activities and workshops tailored to your requirements. Just call, have a chat about your ideas and I will design a programme just for you and your group. I offer a bespoke schools programme. You can bring your children to CREARTII to experience working in an art studio, or I can visit you. See the schools section for more details.
I am Rachael Wayne, a lover of all things arty. I have been teaching for quite a while in a number of different primary school settings, always bringing with me my love of Art, Design and Craft to children. In my spare time I knit, sew, stick, glue, cut, paint… you name it, I love to do it. I recently completed the Artist Teacher Scheme at Birmingham city University and am now ready to complete an MA in Arts and Education, where I am developing the use of sketchbook learning.
You'll find the CREARTII Art Studio on Green Lane in Belper. This beautiful building lends itself nicely to being an Art Studio. Does anyone else know the history of this building?
